Man, it is hot out here in California! Can’t even sit around and play a game of Halo 3 without ending up smellin’ like a foot. Its hotter than a - wait, what? October contest? Oh yeah.

So - As a celebration of hitting 2,000 forum members, we promised that this month’s contest would have the biggest prizes yet. Check out them prizes:

So - How do you enter?

It's easy.

How to Enter:
1) First, you have to be a member of the forums with at least one post. No garbage “dsadahjsa” posts, either. Introduce yourself or something.
2) Send a private message to the account 2000Contest on the forums, with the answers to the following question: What was the date and title of the very first Heliocity.net news post? Note: First news post. Not forum post ^_^ Send in the wrong thing? Don’t sweat it - just send in a second entry, we’ll just count the most recent. Depending on how you read the question, there are a few “correct” answers here - don’t worry, as long as theres some logic to your answer, you’re in the runnings.

See? Couldn’t be much easier than that.

The winners will be chosen at random from those who did everything properly. You have until October 5th to send your entries in. One entry per person; anyone caught trying to boost their odds in a superficial way will get the boot from this and future contests. Winners will be announced 10/6.
