HelioUP Updates: Youtube and Flickr support Monday?

Word over at CrunchGear is that HelioUP is getting some updates come Monday.

As mentioned in the story, nothing is confirmed yet. If the rumors hold true, we should be able to upload photos directly to Flickr, and videos directly to YouTube (Video Virus users only? Hope not).

GPS Tagging was one of the reasons a lot of us really wanted the Ocean. Unfortunately, HelioUP isn’t exactly the best use of it. Being able to upload GPS-tagged photos to Flickr would be incredibly awesome. Being able to view all your images by location on a Maps mashup? Yes please.

Oh, site redesign coming soon. (Monday-ish?)

    It’s already working for me. I’ve uploaded a pic to flickr, but I have not testing video to youtube yet. Just go to your helio album, click share and add new destination. Both flickr and youtube are now listed.
