First and most importantly: Oh man, we love the above Helio stock image so much. Justin and I have babbled on for hours about that image, building up immense backstories and dramatic events involving the family of Korean Helions featured above. The coolest part has to be the floating Heats shopped into the hands of the Mom and older daughter. I want a floating Heat.

About a week ago, we started hearing chatter about a promotion scheduled to launch in time for Black Friday. Unfortunately, we just couldn’t dig up any solid numbers. We were interested to know. We built up an elaborate plan involving mysterious disguises, crazy techno gadgetry, and George Clooney. It was all set to roll out tomorrow.

Our top-secret mission was called off when this page popped up on the Korean Helio site. It seems to detail a promotion starting tomorrow (11/14). Now, We have no idea if this promo will be available tomorrow (or ever) on the English Helio site - But we’re guessing something along these lines will show up soon. Update: English promo went live a few minutes after we posted this. Pretty much the same deal.

Chances are third party shops are gonna adjust accordingly to remain competitive, so it’s definitely not a bad time to be lookin’ into Helio.
