Posted by Greg Kumparak on September 12th, 2007 at 10:46 PMUpdate: We don’t really use this anymore. We may implement some sort of chat thing in the future, but any chat that goes on in the IRC is totally unofficial.
Can’t get your fix from the forums? Come hang out in the brand new Official Heliocity IRC channel!
Load up your favorite IRC client (Like WLIrc on the Ocean, or mIRC on Windows), and stop on by:
Server: irc.dal.net
Channel: #Heliocity
(Need help? Confused by IRC? Check out: What is IRC?)
We’ll have a browser based chat room available for visitors soon, and we’ll be adding features to the chatroom (Helio Trivia, Whoo!) in the coming days.
Stop on by!

Same here. Can you post configuration?

Actually, try version 2.0. All I did was create a new profile with the info above. Then I connected to it without any problems.

You guys should try moving #heliocity to freenode.net. It’s much more reliable than dal.net
