Posted by Greg Kumparak on May 25th, 2007 at 06:23 PM

Update: Looks like Helio may have jumped the gun on the release - it’s been taken back off. It’ll most likely be added again within the next few days. In the mean time, we’ve figured out a way for you to get it Check out the “How to Download the Myspace Application” guide for more info.

The “Myspace on Helio” application has come out of beta, and is now officially available to the public via the “Download Applications” screen.

Sure, we all had it a few days early when the jumpcode for the beta was figured out, but now we’re supposed to have it!

Go grab it while it’s hot!

That app still works on the drift ( I have ) and i’m guessing it will still work on the Heat as well, if you don’t see it in the apps section, still just use the jumpcode to direct you straight to it “MYSPACE” and than jump!

I went to the “How to Download the Myspace Application” link. It shows two links to use. I attempted to use the process indicated in the “new” link. I got to the page fine. When I start the download process, it appears like everything is in order. But then it says “Download Failed.” After repeated attempts, I tried the “old” process. That took me to an error page. I am using my Ocean for all this. Anybody have any ideas?
