Using the codes do change the phone prices though. You have to pay the full online new member price. I.e. for an Ocean the promo coded price is $199. W/o the promo code the Ocean is $174. I agree that if they really wanted to be so nice to the community, they should let verfiable members (i.e. active forum participants) of the community apply the $10/mo credit to their own existing Helio account.
