Updated PCLink Pro & Helio Player
Posted by Justin B. on January 24th, 2008 at 08:15 PMOnly a week after the official launch of the Helio Mysto, the PCLink Pro software along with Helio player has been updated with drivers to support the super-slim new device. You can now manage all of your pictures, music, ringtones, calendar events, and more through these two programs, right from the comfort of your own PC! As with any update, it looks like a few bug fixes made their ways into this build of Helio Player as well. Hurrah!

1st. Keep the good news coming. Random: Our Fry’s helio rep said Ocean 2 should be out by the end of the year. I can’t wait and wanna settle for a bulky OG Ocean. Argh. Anyone selling? =)

Ok……so does this new PC Sync Pro work for the Ocean as well? I looked at the website but the Ocean is not listed as a supported device….hmmmm
that sucks if it doesnt….
I did get the updated Helio Player but I havent tried the Sync Pro program…

Nah - PCLink is only for the Samsung devices.

If by Mac compatibility, you mean an entirely new Mac application, no. However, you can run Helio Player on your Mac if you use Parallels to run Windows. It works quite well, in fact - even though it’s not officially supported.
