Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1; format=flowed Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit To whom it may concern, I'm sure we're just one in a pile of many today, but we (I'm speaking for all employees of Heliocity, with consent) find Helio's decision to charge for access to m.youtube.com disgusting and completely outside the range of good business practice. Many members of our community have asked us to contact you as a community representative. Helio has thoroughly upset their user base. Every member I've spoken to has expressed dismay, with many of them considering cancellation. We're here representing a community nearly 250 strong here, each one looking at this change with confusion and a bit of anger. We should also mention the hundreds of angry customers at HowardForums and other sites around the internet. To quote your own pages: "At Helio we don't believe in limiting your ability to surf - you can easily access any mobile-optimized site, and we streamline sites that aren't as mobile-friendly. It's your Internet. We haven't built any walls around it." and "Go anywhere on the web, anytime". To cite such philosophies and then do something so completely in the opposite direction is abhorrent. Most Helio members chose your services on the belief that there was a mobile provider who cared to give us what we want in one package. Is anyone at Helio really so blind as to ignore the massive public demand for Net Neutrality? Picking and choosing what sites are included as the "Internet" is a sure fire way to lose a heck of a lot of customers. Sure - there are a good number of users who are unaware at how out of line such practices are. However, there are thousands of savvy users who will simply not take this. We already pay for this service according to everything stated to us when signing up. Your community is upset with you. Please work on making our day better. Sincerely, The staff of Heliocity.net
