The Ocean’s built in flashlight function can be incredibly useful for illuminating dark pathways and scaring off small animals. However, having to turn it back on every 10 seconds or so can be a chore.

There is a quick and easy way to glitch the flashlight into staying on.

1. Go to: Menu > 1. Customize > 5. Settings > 5. Device > 5. Mode Transition Time
2. Set the Mode Transition Time to 10sec
3. Go back to: Menu > 1. Customize > 5. Settings > 5. Device > 5. Mode Transition Time
4. Set the Mode Transition Time back to 5sec

The above steps only to need to be done once. The glitch should remain active as long as your device remains set to a 5sec transition time. The above steps are required, however, as your device needs to have been set to 10sec at least once.

The Glitch:

1. Open your Ocean in landscape (QWERTY keyboard) mode.
2. Hold the back button () for 2 seconds.
3. Quickly slide the Ocean shut.

The flashlight should now stay on until a button is pressed.
